The other day I wrote about how “Finally I’m Ranked #1 For “Shreveport Seo Consultant” which was a two month project which I figure would have went at least three months. When I did this last update I was number one in Yahoo and Bing but still stuck on the 4th or 5th page in Google.
Like I explained in the last update that this is normal and it really wasn’t anything to worry about. I knew that after doing seo for over 10 years now and how the search engines react to certain things that it was going to be a matter of time when I jump to the top page.
That time came on January 1, 2013 just one day after the last exciting update of me ranking #1 in the other top search engines. Today is a exciting day for me and to be honest I have had this type of feeling many times over the years when I reach the top page for a keyword.
Keywords can mean the difference in making a extra 50K a year if you do the right keyword research and target a market when you can rank #1 and help solve the problems of those who are searching for your services. This project was to show my potential clients that “Hey” if you think ranking a website is imposable then check out what I did in “X” amount of time.
Showing people results like this helps you build creditability in your market and people will start to really follow your steps because you make those things other people just talk about come true. So the fact that I’m on the front page of Google is exciting to me and I know it will bring nice traffic when I hit the #1 spot which I’m in the 5th spot as of my writing this.
But I know its all about helping others achieve those goals from the ice cream shop owner in New York who wants to rank for “New York Ice cream Shop” to the simple guy who has a lawn care service in Miami who needs to be #1 in his city for “Miami Lawn Care”. No matter how you look at it there is a way to the top and if you don’t take action to better your site presents in the search engines then your business will never reach full potential you have for it.
